Community Hub
The recently refurbished Kinloch Community Hub which opened in 2019 is situated on the main road midway between Stornoway and Tarbert On the A859. Spacious Car parking and electric car charging point available.
Gift Shop
The gift shop stocks merchandise from local craft workers as well as stocking the publications for KHS and The Island Book Trust.
Open – Mon to Sat, 10am to 4pm. Other times by arrangement







Charity Shop
The Charity Shop is run by Community volunteers, on a rota basis. It has been open since 2014 and is now in a purpose-built building. It is open Tue, Thu, Fri – 1pm – 4pm & Sat 10am – 4pm.
KHS provides opportunities for volunteering in the above areas. Volunteers are much valued and are very active in delivering all the activities and services of the Society. Without them we could not operate all the facilities on site.

Our charge point can accommodate two vehicles.

Rental Office
The Old Schoolhouse has been completely refurbished to provide five offices which are available for rental. This area is self-contained with a separate kitchen and disabled toilet.
Launderette - coin operated
Opened in January 2016. Self Service. Coin operated (£1 or £2 coins).
Please note that washing powder is not supplied in the launderette.

Closed – Sunday


Kinloch Krafters
The Kinloch Krafters meet at Kinloch Community Hub every Wednesday from 10am – 12pm. Crafts include upholstery, sewing, knitting, crochet, dress-making, patchwork and more.
