Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival
The Kinloch Historical Society will lead two guided walks on Saturday 28 June through the Aline Community Woodland as part of the Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival. Learn about the history of the woodland and the wider Kinloch area and enjoy the views over Loch Seaforth. As part of the Bird of Prey Trail, there may even be an opportunity for some bird watching.
The first walk will leave from the car park at Aline at 11am. The walk will lead to Port Grigaspul. Loose gravel footpath. Approx 1 hour. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
The second walk will leave from the car park at Aline at 1pm. The walk will lead to the summit of the Stag Hill walk. Boardwalk leading onto a loose gravel footpath. Sections of steep inclines. Approx 1.30 hours. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
